Description:

The current state of affairs worldwide has challenged our way of life and changed our world in unpredictable ways. The COVID-19 pandemic, economic recession, social unrest, and volatile political climate have impacted every sphere of society and created a great measure of uncertainty for our country. The pandemic has caused widespread shutdowns, a spike in unemployment and an increase in mental illness. Despite these disruptions to our daily lives, we still strive to bring our best self to work. This presentation will examine how to work successfully in our new normal whether you are working from home, the office, or a jobsite. It will examine how to lead with compassion, universal empathy, competency, and consistency while developing resiliency and trust. Skanska’s Vice President and Account Manager, Katie Coulson and Procore's Occupational Health and Safety Program Manager, Vince Nixon will explore their perspectives on adjusting to a mixture of remote and in-person work.
