Raw data rarely tells us the story we want it to. Data is a lens, not a decision maker, and our own experience impacts what we see. How well you question the data you are given reflects how well you will use it. In this course we will look at some of the most important ways in which you can work with data and focus on how these practices illustrate data’s potential to drastically improve life on the job site.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define the innate human behaviors and biases that can influence the way we collect and interpret data.
  2. Gain an understanding of statistical concepts that are crucial to good data collection and analysis.
  3. Learn how different factors and levels of abstraction impact the quality and usability of your data.
