Procore Developer: General Training

Procore Developer: General Training

Learn the basics of Procore's construction management platform.

About this course

New to Procore?

If you are a software architect or developer who is new to Procore's construction management platform and you intend to build a custom integration based on Procore's open API, this course is for you! (Note: If you have not done so already, please visit Procore Connect and complete the form before beginning this course.)

We realize that you most likely do not have any prior construction related experience. Don't worry, that's both okay and expected. However, if you're going to build software tool that directly integrates or interacts with the Procore construction management platform, it's important to first have a basic understanding of Procore and its core suite of tools.

The "Procore Developer: General Training" course is designed to give you a basic overview of Procore's construction management software platform. This particular course focuses on Procore's core suite of collaborative, field, and document management tools (e.g. Drawings, Specifications, RFIs, Daily Log, Inspections, Punch List, etc.). However, it purposely excludes the financial tools such as the Bidding, Budget, Prime Contract, Commitments, Change Orders, Change Events, and Direct Costs. If you are building an ERP accounting integration or are building a custom integration or tool that interacts with one of the financial tools, it's recommended that you also complete the "Procore Developer: Financial Training" course.

The curriculum of this web-based course consists of tool-specific training videos and quizzes.  We realize that most users will not have the ability to complete the training in a single session. Therefore, we've designed the course to be both flexible and self-paced. Learn at your own pace, complete modules in any order, as well as resume your training at any time.  Upon completion, you will have a solid understanding of how each tool is used to manage different aspects of a construction project in Procore.

(Estimated Time for Completion: 2 hours)
